Life's tough. It's tougher when you're stupid.
JFWIW, I got a set of those e-motion rollers last month (haven't mentioned it on my own blog because I'm embarassed to admit I spent that much money on a set of rollers).I love them. A lot. You really can treat them like regular rollers, or like a resistance trainer, or like a road. I love that I can stand up from a rolling stop in my biggest gear and do my 15 second sprints. I love that I can sit up and ride no handed for a minute. I love that I can get into watching the show on tv, drift off to one side or another, and get bumped back to where I should be without any harm.I'm giving my old rollers to Rick Sunderlage (not his real name) tomorrow.
The seat looks a little low on the Pugsley… but the wood rollers look fun.
Getting rid of those crummy old Kreitlers, the 1936 Caddilac of trainers (nice in its time, outmoded now) eh Elden? Why does that song from the cartoon keep running through my head every time I play this video? Flintstones, meet the Flintstones...
My old Tacx melted and warped from being in the sun on the back seat of the car and they still ride smoother than that. But me and off road bikes just don't get along.
